I read about how fashion retailers have abandoned the traditional retail models. Instead H&M, Zara, and Uniqlo have come up with their own models. Looking at the Zara and H&M website made me want to buy all of their clothing. The designs are very different from what we see in America. The companies try to attract people, like me, with their unique style to buy their clothing. The articles talk about how they have expanded over the past two decades. These stores/companies have a constant supply of new types of clothing. The companies also take a risk because they do not know if the clothing that they have made is going to be "the new style." Most retail stores are always thinking ahead. They are always thinking about creating new innovative products at least 6-9 months in advance.
Questions:
What do stores do with the clothing if it isn't not selling well?
